Hi All,
Happy New Year for 2012 !
On SAT Jan 14 , our ' FRIENDS OF THE OAK WOODLANDS - GG PARK, ' , a PARK PARTNER under auspices of SF Parks Alliance, with a mission to provide stewardship and resources for the northeast part of Golden Gate Park and the Horseshoe Arena, will be doing our fist for 2012 once a month work party around the HORSSHOE ARENA - landscaping , erosion control and native shrub planting.
We will be working in collaboration with SFRPD's Natural Areas Program who will provide the tools and plants.
This work is vital for the integrity of the Courts - protecting the surrounding slopes and providing for improved aesthetics and public safety.
We invite all of you who are interested in the continuing restoration and improving functionality of the Courts to participate .
