April 4, 2009 Golden Gate Park Horseshoe Party and BBQ:Over 30 people showed up for Horseshoes in Golden Gate Park and a BBQ. Several people arrived early with shovels, rakes, brooms and other tools to clean up broken glass and litter and to restore several horseshoe pits into playing condition. As you can see from the photos, many of the pits are over grown with weeds and dirt and are awaiting care. Thanks to everyone who showed up, helped to clean up and had a good time. Stay tuned for future events.
