Pete, its a stock photo i found online. wish i could say i was brave enough. i don't look that much different though. pretty funny. thanks for the call.. btw golden gate park is sketchy unless you have a decent size group. the hobos aren't really that dangerous but they're annoying and immediately want to play, doesn't hurt to bring an extra set. cant't blame them though. its good fun.

I've had a few encounters at GGP too. It's not to bad during the middle of the day. Stern Grove is much better that way. I'm keeping a look out for some old sets at a garage sale to try and leave at the two courts as loaners "courtesy of the SFHPC." See how long they stay there. The hobos might get pretty good if they spend all day pitching horseshoes. It'd give them something else to do and maybe they'd stop breaking their bottles in the pits if they respected it more. They can start the Hobo Horseshoe Club and help clean up the place!

Hi, guys. Back in action after my usual bout of winter flu. I walked by the pits at GG Park yesterday. They're still pretty wet, but I think one or two of the pits are playable. I don't have a set of shoes, but would welcome the opportunity to play sometime soon if anyone's available.

Hi Matt, I have at least six pairs of shoes so no worries. How about next Tuesday at noon? Jon and I played a few weeks ago at Stern Grove. If you're ever over that way you should take a look. The pits are in much better condition. One more and we could play doubles.

That's cool, Pete. Let's do it. Jon, if you can bring a partner, by all means let's do doubles.
